Changed my blog title, bcause not everyone understood what "juhtumised" means. :)

Don't have much to say. Just a bit tired and motivated to work. Made a small presentation this morning and my voice went away several times. So annoying. Other people were nice though and said that it went well. Nice that they are nice, even though it wasn't so easy to listen. :) But otherwise it went fine and got some ideas about future work.

There was a small biostatistics symposium at school today, followed by mingling, dinner and dance. It felt quite wierd to have dinner party on Monday. Now it feels like weekend again, but unfortunately reality is a bit different. Ohhh... :)

Finally, some dessert to statisticians, from one facinating talk called "on the path to extinction". Here are some highlights from that talk:

*"In the long run we are all dead."

*A theory:"If you force all women to have exactly one daughter and forget about men, then eventually we would have a stable population."
