I don't know how I'm going to manage next week without any guests. It is so much fun to have guests. Especially if they happen to be your good friends. And especially if they tell you funny stories. I'm not going to name any names, but there is a great story about a certain german guy falling in to a lake. :)
After saying goodbye to my german guests this night, went to Danmark for NordStat 2006 at the same morning. Weather has been awsome the whole day. We took a ferry from Gothenburg (p.s. I don't have swedish keybord here), passing a lot of sailing boats, some typical Danish windmills and arrived
in the middle of beautiful Danish landscape by the afternoon. Conference is held at the small and piqtueresque Rebild. After the dinner we went for a walk in national park area, which some people called the Danish Grand canyon. :) They use sheep to keep the grass cut and while you have a walk in the valley, it is quite natural that sheep walk along with you some time. Like a guided tour. :) They also talked with us a lot, but we weren't quite sure what the topic was.Otherwise this week has been really emotional. With a great joy and sorrow at the same time. It doesn't feel fair that all the nice people don't stay around us forever (except in our mind). But life goes on and luckily there are so many wonderful people around.
Trying to find time to check the Football too. Keep my fingers crossed for Netherlands. Somehow I satred to like their team a long time ago. Don't even know why. Maybe felt that they have cute guys or something. And definitely am not going to accept the rules for women. ;)
Mmm. It smells like summer. Can't wait the vacation and meeting estonian friends.
